DW100 Step-Down Voltage Converter (100VA / 220V to 110V-120V)
The DW100 voltage converter is designed for small, low-power appliances rated up to 100VA (71 watts), making it ideal for compact electronics and light-duty devices imported from the US, Japan, or other 110V/120V regions. It allows these appliances to operate safely on South Africa’s standard 220V mains supply.
Key Features:
- Power Rating: Suitable for appliances up to 100VA / 71W (lower-wattage devices also compatible)
- Voltage Conversion: Steps down 220V input to 110V/120V output
- Frequency Note: Does not convert frequency — output remains at 50Hz (South African mains standard).
- Plug-and-Play Design: No setup required — simply plug the 3-pin cord into your mains outlet and connect your appliance to the front panel
- Fuse Protected: Helps prevent damage from overloading
Before You Buy:
Check your appliance’s input power label (usually located on the base or rear of the unit) to confirm its wattage falls within the DW100’s 100VA/71W limit. Exceeding this limit may blow the fuse or damage the converter. If you’re unsure which converter model suits your appliance, contact Satronics or your appliance supplier for assistance.
Ideal for: Small chargers, shavers, low-power electronics, and other compact 110V/120V devices with light power demands.
